Dear Caring people,

Adelyn's operation is on 14 Nov 2012. 

I will continue to update you the progress of the eye operation as it goes.

Once again, thank you for all supports and blessing towards Adelyn!!    

This humbling experience has shown me to believe in the human spirit through the Language of Kindness nationally and internationally. Our prayers have been answered as a local foundation we met a few weeks ago has agreed to fund Adelyn's eye operations. It is a wonderful news. Also from the sale of proceeds "Little Dreams" CDs we have achieved over the $80k and we are donating the excess $2.4k to two needy families.

 

My once tears of pain are now tears of joy-it has been emotional and sentimental journey for us.

 

Adelyn and I hope to contribute to the society apart from performing at the President Star Charity but through other means within our capability.

 

Meanwhile we now concluded the CDs sale with a heartfelt thanks to each of you that contributes to this project. May blessing be showered upon you.

Dear all caring friends,

I am sorry for neglecting the blog as Adelyn have chicken pox since last week.

Thank you for all concerns and caring words for her.

She will be involved in President's Star Charity show, LIVE in Channel 5, on 14th Oct @730 pm.

Therefore, I am only able to do the final collating over after the weekend.

23 Sep Little Dream updates

Dear caring people,

 

Adelyn and I are overwhelmed by the responses, some from overseas and some came to visit Adelyn. We are really touched by your kind heart, wishes and encouragement as hope was once drifting away.

 

Now 2 weeks on since Adelyn's story went live on the media, as the mother, we are obliged to give you an update. As a single mother with 3 young children, this project Little Dream wouldn't have kicked off without the passion and love of a foreign couple, together with a group of caring individuals of Standard Chartered Private Bank staff. We are blessed as this project is further supported by my trusted friends, local communities, the medias and you. No words can ever describe how grateful we are to have you come forward - Thank you.

 

For Adelyn's eyes operation cost, we target to achieve $80k, and we have to-date received over $67k. Deposit has been made to the specialist and a date has been fixed for Adelyn - 14th Nov. This is a new journey for Adelyn and as a family but the great difference is we have your love, support and encouragement in this journey... we will not be by ourselves.

 

My sincere apology as there may be delay in responding  or overlook to some of your emails while I am in arrangement to produce more CDs. Thank you for your understanding, I will respond to you as soon as I can.

Reason why I can only go to private surgeon, Dr Leonard Ang

Hi friends, Thank you very much for supporting Adelyn and me for her Little Dream.

Many had asked me; "Why you choose to go to this private surgeon instead of the Govt hospital, which will be much more cheaper and subsidise too".

Reason behind is, I had checked out places like SNEC, TTSH, and even some others eye specialists. But non of them able to operate this Boston Kpro.
